Key Howard
Key Howard (born 1929) is a Canadian-born American actor, writer, producer, director, and musician. He was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. Howard moved with his family to the United States in the early 1950s. He began his career in the entertainment industry as a child playing piano and singing for the USO. In Los Angeles and Las Vegas, he worked with Bob Hope, Dinah Shore, Bing Crosby, and Nat King Cole. Working with Ernie Kovacs, Howard was one of the original (Trio ). For many years he was the musical director and road manager for Don Rickles. In 1987, Howard helped form the Convention and Meeting Division of T. Skorman Productions. He is an active participant in the film industry, serving on the boards of FMPTA, the Screen Actors Guild and AFTRA. Howard is a charter member of Variety Club, and served as executive director of the Orlando Civic Theatre. A working actor, he has appeared in many national commercials, television shows and motion pictures, including RoboDoc, Ernest Saves Christmas and From the Earth to the Moon. Howard received the Florida Motion Picture and Television Association's Crystal Reel Award for best actor for three years running and has a starring role in the film, "Free Headshot," which recently won first prize in the Daytona Beach International Film Festival. == Notes==
